New Hair Do

i just got my hair chopped off and i love it so much i gotta blog about it. this might be a little too late to call it a new year's hair but i've decided to have a short hair do through out the year 2012. nothing to do with my resolutions or what not i just fell in love with this look.

shoulder length hair!it reminds me back then when my bob hair cut started to grow out and how i hated that phase so much.lol. so heidi klum was the first person to inspired me to chop my hair off. i love how neat yet casual her hair looks. i just find it more appropriate to style for the office.

i think my hair looks a lot more like nicole's instead of klum's or alba's.

so i turned to miss sarah. the only person that i can trust when it comes to my hair. being a hairstylist at the a cut above salon at bangsar shopping centre, she sure knows how to turn my dull hair looking fabulous!i love the end result, totally worth my rm60. check out the salon website for their services http://www.acutabove.com.my/

i've always like rachel bilson's style of clothing and i adore her. im not much of a fashionista and i dont really trust my guts in what i wear but i tend to buy things according to what i've seen on bilson. since she has a petite figure which i believe i do too (well, being so perasan myself) i always think that whatever looks good on her will look good on me too.

What can i say about the concert?we have a talented band with us bringing us astonishing live performance, mark sounds amazing singing live, the crowd was all dressed up for the concert but they were not hyped enough. Wish those hipsters can be a little less lazier to move around and the stage can be a little more higher because seriously i cant see a thing.and what's with the big screen displayed right behind the crowd. Wasn't it suppose to be somewhere near the stage or in the same direction where our eyes were focused at?and wasn't it suppose to be distinct segregation between the fanatics, party zone, and the regulars?come on, we paid more than they did.i blame the organizer.foster the people is still awesome!well, better luck next time.

And foster, that version of pumped up kicks caused eargasm!that's when the crowd was really pumped up.right at the end of the concert.

the traffic was heavy when we were making our way to johor bahru so we drove around bangi and look for a place for lunch. my sister spotted this restaurant (it's called ulam something something. i cant remember). it looked like a normal restaurant offering malay food from the outside but what really caught my eyes was the interior decoration. they have almost everything vintage and a jukebox from the 60's at the corner. kudos to the owner for being so creative.

can i have one of those luggage please?

my favorite oxford booties. i got em from charles & keith. super comfy. it won't kill your feet unless if you are going to spend a day at USS.

We made a quick visit to Johor Premium Outlet on our way back to Kuala Lumpur. The shopping heaven was impressive but I got to say that place is not for those who are looking for new arrivals item. They only sell selective items or I must say unwanted-items-entitled-for-bargain-price which is rather disappointing because the so called bargain price that they are offering is ain’t that cheap either. Nevertheless, JPO is worth a visit or two for branded freaks ;)

it's not like michael kors is my favorite brand but i dont know why i happen to take pictures of that store everytime.

i even had a minor panic attack when i saw the body shop and charles & keith store.

to tell you the truth i hate to shop when they're having sales. you will end up buying things that you dont really need just because it's cheap and you thought that you might need it sooner or later. a total waste.

The post-vacation feeling is one of the most horrible things a human can experience. I hate the fact that you have to snap back to reality after a wonderful vacation that you don’t even feel as rejuvenated as you should feel. Today I have to get back to work after a trip to the universal studio

. The trip however, was awesome! It is such a wonderful place to be with your loved ones. A day was not enough for me to cover the whole place. There were just too many things to see and rides to catch on so what you will have to do is plan your trip. Check the schedule for shows that you wanted to see and sync it with the waiting time for rides so you won’t miss the show and focus on the main attractions (you can retrieve the USS map beforehand at this URL http://www.rwsentosa.com/Attractions/UniversalStudiosSingapore). Hollywood, New York and Ancient Egypt are my favorite! USS has now becoming one of my favorite places on earth and I shall make another trip to USS pretty soon!

Yes im in a war of my life. I'm pretty surprised to find myself standing so strong against this. I didnt break down or cry like i always do. A part of me is taking this as a blessing in disguise. Perhaps He loves me to have me go through this. Maybe He didnt want me stray too far from His path. I'm feeling a lot better each day and i thank Allah for that. Lesson learned. Karma served. I still got to get going with this life and hope for the best.

i cant claim that i know much about theater appreciation but one thing for sure if you have silly or irrelevant comment to be made about the show, you can either keep it to yourself or save it for later when the show is over. there were 2 girls seating next to me and they cant stop making belittle remarks on each and every scene!scene tengah sedih dieorang boleh buat lawak bodoh. spoil mood aku tengah menangis.

Badai Semalam was intense and full of emotions. i cried twice!erra fazira deserves an applause for her amazing acting. it was superb!my respect to her went up another level tonight. lets talk about aaron aziz. he is hot! gorgeous!cute!hot!and hot!he is burning hot!his acting was awesome too, especially the part where he got mad and start kicking the table and throwing stuff around. it's amazing how he can stay in the character for long even after a brief distraction from the audience. imagine you are doing a serious scene, something happens, and the audience went loony about it and started to laugh. if i was in that kind of situation i'll be grinning like an idiot but aaron can stay focus and still stay in the character. i love emelda's acting too!she was playing this joyah kepoh character and she looks nothing like herself!memang pandai berlakon. i love the plot but i despise the crappy dancing. none of the dancers can really dance dengan tak ingat steps lagi. probably lack of practice. i dont know but the show was still great. owh and i love their outfit!vintage!

this is something that i should have blogged about a week ago but i couldn't find time to do so.okay i lied. i was just too lazy. most of my free time was too precious to stay awake.

so what happened last week?last weekend was actually my first time joining a bazaar and i had so much fun! (clap clap) that was my first attempt of selling pre-loved items and lucky for me to have the gorgeous ili damia as my business partner (check out damia bites for awesomest macaroons and red velvet cuppies in town!). we will be joining another bazaar by threadszoo on the 19th at titiwangsa. i'll post the ad soon. see you there folks!owh and hani is a true amazing supporter of ours!!rugi la tak kawan dengan hani =)

convocation 2011

Convocation for fskm is done and over and I am officially a Uitm alumni.it feels great that I'm officially a degree holder now but I have mixed feelings about the event.

it was horrible!the weather was hot and the management made the graduates wait along the small and narrow walkway which was packed with people with no air-cond that i think i died several times before we get to enter the hall.

but then again i feel loved that my parents are willing to go through the hassle to watch me graduating and i am very grateful to see my name in the best student list and to grad first class degree. alhamdulillah.

here's some convocation tips for future graduates put there (especially those in the evening session):

1. return the robe right away!right after the event. do not wait for the very next day. it will save your life.trust me.
2. you might want to have a pre-convo photo shoot with your friends and family.
3. if you are bored during the event and your name is among the first few, go out. they will ask you to leave the mortarboard at your seat. you can go out with your parents and go for a photo shoot at the studio nearby (don't worry about the mortarboard, the studio will provide you the whole convocation attire). but make sure you comeback to the hall before the event ends.
4. don't bother about having expensive new outfit. the robe IS your outfit. everyone pretty much looks the same
5. if you want to get your hair done at the salon, make an appointment at least 2 hours earlier.
6. if you get an anc or grad first class, walk gracefully. absorb the entire atmosphere and take your own sweet time because that walk of fame lasted for merely 5 seconds.
7. there will be 2 spots for you to stop before you can walk on the stage. make sure you wait till your name is called before you can start walk the walk

for the rest of the graduates out there, congrats!we've made it!

it was amusing and entertaining!although in my personal opinion, the story line was not well elaborated but with good music, singing and dancing one can still enjoy the performance by Tiara Jacquelina, Ryan Silverman, Aznil, Adibah Nor, Tony Eusoff, and Aaron. kudos to Pat Ibrahim for awesome choreo!and more credit should be given out to Stephanie van Driesen who played Betty. fantastic singing and boy that girl can really dance.

istana budaya is not as strict as it used to be with the protocol anymore. i remember seeing people being stopped from entering the grand hall for wearing jeans which is a big no-no if you're going to istana budaya but last night, countless of people were wearing jeans and tights and no remarks were made by the ushers. come on people isn't this the time where you can flaunt your pretty dress and preppy clothes?

feathers hair extension

feathers hair extension is not something new but it catches my attention recently and i would love to give it a try. i think it's really cool!

so i went around the mall looking for the diy kit because i dont think going to the salon and get the extension done would be a good idea since you cant be wearing extension during solat but im in no luck to find one. so i went through blogs for some diy ideas on it and i found this post on hanie hidayah's blog. i wonder if she's still making those or i might need to do it myself.

Today was a crazy day for me. Fainted due to hypotension at the office (thanks to anil and yus for bringing me to the clinic). the doctor asked me to comeback again for a blood test. the idea of going through a blood test or a medical checkup totally creeps me out.you know how they say it's better for you to not know anything than to find out that something is wrong with you?i like it that way.but i think it's my call to live a healthy lifestyle. cant wait for payday so i can get new swimsuit and running shoes!

another crazy insane thing happened to me.my car played a prank on me which is totally not funny. it was late, it was raining and dark, i was at the basement parking without any network signals on my bb, and my car won't start. bumped into anil and yus (again) and they helped me out with the car. what a bad day.

i'm not going to talk about shampoo in a freaky green bottle. i'm going to talk about all the good things!Ramadhan has been the best month ever!i got my 2 best friends back together again (i'm lucky enough that they didn't get on each other's throat over our past), got a new job, a new (life-changing) blackberry, and great family and friends on my side. did i mention good food too?*blessed*

i love you both afeeya radzi and hanee shereen chua with all my heart and i want more of this!pweety pwease!

i've tried making butter chicken on my own. well, it doesn't look as good as its taste but i'll do better next time.

and because there's so many unworthy novels to read by awful writers eg: twilight (i despise twilight and its actors and actresses!!bella can go die and edward can go bathe a cat) on the shelves, wany suggested that i should start reading classic novels so i'm starting with "Sense and Sensibility" by Jane Austen.

see if i can have a self-reflect moment by reading this (or it will probably bore me out) either way, reading has always been a great learning experience (except if you are reading cecilia ahern's horrible pieces).

I adore the idea of being in a relationship with the person you love. i think it’s beautiful. But there's also a misconception of relationship. a relationship without love. Some people think that relationship is just a social booster, some people being in a relationship just because.

i personally think that relationship is just a state of mind where it ties down 2 people who think that they're in love, it pushes commitment down their throat, and makes them swallow it hard till they feel that they want to puke on each other's faces. it ripped off the sincerity of love and its actual meaning.

if you really love a person it does not require you to be in a relationship with that person just to give her flowers or to hug her or even to kiss her.that small little things you did for her are enough to keep her happy because hye, she didnt expect you to do those things for her because you are not obligated to do so but you'd done it anyway. That will be a lot sweeter because actions do speak louder than words..

i'm not saying that being in a relationship is bad altogether but why bother being "mutually exclusive" but not doing it the right way?

But actions without words will only make things complicated yeah.

weekend in Pangkor

This week has been tiring but fun!after spending a weekend at lumut and pangkor, attended "Apa jadi selepas 9 Julai?" forum which was my first field trip out of the office, rushed to the Bukit Jalil stadium to support Harimau Malaya against the singapore football team on thursday, and met khairy jamaluddin in person whom i've admired for so long! i even managed to catch a midnight movie in the middle of the week. that was my week right before ramadhan. splendid!this weekend will be the time for me to compensate the lack of sleep that i've been having since last weekend.zzzzzzz.....

Apa Selepas 9 Julai?

There can never be anything more annoying than continuous heckling when you’re giving a speech in a debate.

“Wan Ahmad is a brave man to be here today” said Ambiga at the “Apa Selepas 9 Julai” forum with Wan Saiful as the moderator (he had done a brilliant job as the moderator). I couldn’t agree more. My colleague Elizabeth and I were given a responsibility to bring Hugo Restall from the Wall Street Journal Asia to meet the speakers among few other prominent people.

The crowd was hideous. They are being disrespectful and shallow minded. It seems that they were not there to listen to the explanation by Wan Ahmad. They were there just to “buat kecoh”. It was really an embarrassing scenario to be seen by Hugo as an outsider. Questions from the crowd were wrongly directed to EC (how can EC stops gutter politics?) which left Wan Ahmad with repetitive answer of “SPR tidak ada kuasa” for most questions.

But I can’t blame them completely. Wan Ahmad was not showing his credibility as a deputy chairman of EC judging from the way he gave his clarification on issues mainly evolved around indelible ink vs biometric system and EC as a legitimate power to help BERSIH to achieve their objective by making electoral reform a reality. I have to say that he didn’t possess the persuasion ability to work the crowd as a speaker. Ambiga on the other hand, was being a “smooth criminal”. She was pleasant to hear and every remarks made by her deserve a nod (if you didn’t know any better).

Don’t worry I’m not going to argue on BERSIH or EC on my blog. I know the answers to my questions and yet I don’t get to see the dire need for us to have an electoral reform in our country. The government is not always right but to think rationally, could the opposition do any better? For the government to answer Ambiga’s quest meaning that they will have to deny the rights of those who are against the idea. Isn’t this a democratic country where majority always win in the end?

It has been a while since the last time i felt a rush of emotions.
You know, the train of thoughts you had that makes you restless at night and how you are not sure whether you are feeling bored or sad or just plain empty.

I used to have this strong faith in myself.
The kind of belief that i can make it through this life on my own by being self-reliant and not to depend on others.
i am not going to count on you to be my knight in shiny armor and save me from misery.
This, I've been telling myself far too many times before but it didn't really stuck on my head.
it is safe to say that i still have a little faith in you but now i'm having doubts.

you know, the kind of doubts that are slowly chasing away your faith and it makes you feel reluctant to make a move that you will end up telling yourself if it's meant to be then it will be and you decided to just sit around like a sloth because you are losing faith and will.

but even if you are at the losing end and you know it, and you think that you are ready to let go, there's this funny thing called feelings. it can make you so delusional and even make you believe that unicorn exist and it eats rainbows and poop butterflies.
it's like no matter how you tell yourself that something is impossible and can never be done, your heart will keep on telling you to keep holding on.

so am i holding on to you?no. but i wish i am.i wish you will let me.

There's no use mocking my own life on this blog but i'd done it anyway and i'm going to do it again and again.. Lets just hope that God will grant you your wish if you wait patiently.
Until that time comes, you will just have to keep your faith in Him.
He loves you enough.
He wont give you rain without rainbow in the end. (or probably He will give you unicorn's poop. hye, it's still rainbow!)

Being an intern at Karim Raslan Associates makes me feel a lot like an adult.(fyi KRA is a public affair firm and it is strategically located right behind bangsar lrt station). The company deals with businesses, corporates, and politics in south east asia region so i need to read a lot and keep myself updated with current issues. Seriously, I feel like a loser not understanding half of the things going around the office *grab a copy of The Economist*.

I love the working environment and i have pretty cool colleagues but as of now, there's not much to describe my job as an intern. Insya Allah, if my performance is up to their expectation, I'll be a research assistant within a month.

And the best part of working in the office is the dressing up part. I dont get to dress like this on normal days.

Being a person with a 9 to 5 job makes me appreciate weekend even more. That precious 48 hours are the only time that I have to socialize with my friends and family so I need to make sure that I fully utilize my weekend. So you're wondering what's my plan for the future eh? Idealistically, I want a bungalow with 5 rooms, a large kitchen, a back yard, and a pool with superb interior details and a brand new convertible volkswagen beetle and probably get married to a handsome, charming, and successful gentleman who can give me both the house and the car. Owh yes, I'm a dreamer. But realistically, I'm thinking of getting an apartment and a brand new car and of course to find me a decent guy who can give me his heart and I'll be a happy and contented little woman. wish me luck!

and i'm still looking for a job. im looking for a permanent job but that might take a while longer than i thought. so i need a part time job for the mean time. trust me, i'm highly responsible, competitive, and ~~money~~ goal driven. anyone wants to hire me? =)

i'm still trying to gain weight too.never succeed. i've tried really i've tried. =/

it was my first time in sabah for borneo debating championship hosted by unimas and i had a super great time!!!teamed up with med and azreen and our team ut mara 3 made it to the quarter finals!!homaigad!!i was so freaking happy!we lost to ut mara 1 at quarter on the compulsory pre-school education motion. sad but syafiq, rafiq, and aerie won the competition against mmu team at the finals..so yeah, i was really proud of them!

after the grand finals, we ended up hanging around the town till 4am since we had a flight to catch at 6am. no sleeps but i had a good time getting to know people. the dinner treat by hafiz was awesome too! i always thought that man was all cranky and up tight, but he's actually a real nice guy!and we went to tanjung aru too!was looking forward for island hopping but the weather didnt permit us to go on one.

the girls invented "the bitchcode" out of the sickness and annoyance that we had from hearing too much of brocode this brocode that...bitchcode might sound demeaning according to aerie but this is the actual definition of it,

so don't get confused by the word "bitch" people!

and now we're back to reality. assignments, classes, workloads and the "you have to give a fuck about everything" days. i always treat debating trip as an escape from all this shit. when you go on a debate tourney, it's like you're living in a fantasy world. doing what you are most passionate about, being with people you love, and all the good times you had. it's definitely a vacation.

and of course there's stories that i cant tell ;)

and i'd won 2 awards during pre-graduation night. best student for my program and best student for science department!!those awards are for you mak and ayah!!things are definitely getting better now =D

i'd read somewhere that it took the KRU Production 2 years to complete the shooting of the movie and they went as far as china to find the props and they spent more than RM10 millions on that movie!that's E for effort people!

i enjoy watching every minutes of it. probably because i'm always in love with hikayat, lagenda, fairy tales, and folklore since i was a kid. apart from admiring cinderella and princess aurora and actually memorize sirah and kisah-kisah nabi, i grew up fascinated by stories of ramayana & sita, lagenda mahsuri, lagenda puteri gunung ledang, hikayat hang tuah (surprisingly i'm a fan of jebat), and i used to read a lot of folklore from asian countries too. cant remember much but there's this tale of javanese kingdom, they use lots of raden in their name, i think the story is almost like ramayana but i just cant recall the title. and i remember reading this folklore from korea about handsome looking twins and another folklore from sumatra about big fat boy who turned into ghost. Conclusively saya memang suka baca cerita karut. i wonder if we still have those books.

okay, the point is apart from skinny extras in the movie (really the extras are bothering me), i really think the movie was great. i like the metaphors in the script (though they could have done more with it), the props, and the cinematography.

it would be great if they can make a sequel of hikayat merong mahawangsa or proceed with hikayat hang tuah perhaps?

i'd encountered people who are down right boring and i think a lot of people might have think that i'm boring too. honestly, i don't believe that people are naturally born boring. sometimes, people who are actually fun to talk to, turns out to be boring for certain ~~random~~ factors. response and the situation. non-reactive person speaks in a manner that it's very hard for others to extend whatever shit that they are throwing into the conversation. very much like a conversation killer. they tend to answer things in a simplified way because they are not ready to open up. this happens when two strangers are engaging in a conversation. if both are introvert type of people, the tension builds up can even be felt by the people around them but they are not all boring. when they started to open up and being casual, they can be hell of fun. sometimes, it's just a way for a person to show that they are not interested to talk to you.

on the other hand, if either one of them is very reactive in response, not just answering question, but to talk and make the conversation evolve into something much more meaningful and deeper, the conversation can be fun and interesting and it can even be sexy. sometimes, what you need is not necessarily intelligence but to stay interesting and interested.

but then here comes the situation. some people can really open up when there's not more than 2 people in the circle but for some people, it's easier for them to talk to the crowd rather than engaging in one-on-one conversation. and worse, if one is actually attracted to another. the nervousness and the cautiousness takes away the fun out of a person. that's when the conversation freeze and becomes boring.

sometimes you have to act like you dont know to make way for people to explain and make the conversation flows. and when the other party acknowledge the fact that they are superior in intelligence compared to the other person, they will build up the confidence and open up more. but if you meet someone down-right stupid, not just not knowing anything about the world to talk to, but they tend to make lame jokes and stupid remarks that you really wanna kick their balls and smack their face really hard and shout "you're fucking lame dont ever talk to me idiot!", there's pretty much nothing you can do. they think they're funny when they're not and this kind of people bored me out and even pisses me off!

to tell you the truth im not good in making conversation either. in a large group of strangers i tend to keep quite and observe. when they talk about things that i dont know, i will ask so i can understand but to certain extent i will just keep quite and pray to god that they will hop on another topic. topic that i know. some said i talk too much but for some they find me much of a listener. probably i need time for adjustment. just to make myself comfortable with the person that im talking to. i dont find much problem engaging with other people but to start a conversation with someone new is pretty much a big step for me to make.

when it comes to the people that i have crush on, is even worse. stutter and lost for words. so yeah, you can really tell ;)

so what's the point of writing this post?i have no absolute idea...toodles!

national novice debating championship 2011

we had a trip to jengka the week earlier prior to the tournament. med and reza taught the junkies how to debate properly..we fed them with everything that we could get from masai's class. the kids have potential..the first timers were way better than we did back then and they still have years to go to brush up their debating skill. i had a great time in jengka. =)

i had a great time during novice too despite us not breaking after the preliminary rounds. debated alongside takky and sheril. they are awesome speakers! let me tell you briefly whatever happened in each round. the first round was on friday. debated on the motion thw separate talented students from their peers, we were the opposition and the motion was accepted. the gov was fighting for options for the students to develop their so called talent but the problem is there are options for these students to develop their talent. never once in the status quo, the government is stopping kids from taking music classes or play basketball. they got the status quo wrong and they're trying to achieve something that is already existed. and they didnt even talk about separating these kids from their peers in the proposal. sucks. unjustified but then again probably because we didnt prioritized our arguments. don't wanna blame the adj for the lost and be a sore loser.

second round commenced on saturday. on the motion thw make voting compulsory, we'd won the debate.

thbt US should stop mediating in palestinian-israeli peace talks was probably the toughest motion for me. i can never do international relation debate. i don't have facts to support my arguments and to top it all, med, hash, and meerul were there to watch the debate which make me so fucking nervous. tiba tiba je masuk bilik. dah la motion susah. tengok muka sorang2 memang tak dapat nak think straight. that was probably the worst speech i'd done through out the tournament. sumpah!..but yet we'd won.

thw celebrate strip club. this is definitely the kind of motion that i can get all emotional by being a feminist, but i was rather pissed during this round.the boys from the gov bench was really getting on our nerves. they laugh at each and every sentence that we said and they were really picking on us. i was really pissed but we won nevertheless.

Thw allow muslims in malaysia to convert to other religion was the last motion for the preliminary rounds. we were the side of the government. now, tell me, it's hard enough that we have to go against our own beliefs defending this motion, but how can we ever argue that right created by human which is never absolute can surpasses the rule of god?it was tough but i really think we did our best. the motion was rejected. sadly.

we didnt break which make us feel so disappointed. gonna have to face the punishment by masai next thursday. god, please have mercy on us for we had really tried our best.

the previous post was instigated by a lot of girl talks and by listening to a lot of olivia ong's songs...this singaporean singer sang so perfectly well..i'm in love with her voice!didn't skip a track of her "best of olivia" album. =)

this is one of my fave track on repeat mode.

i realized that i switched the station whenever lady antebellum's "need you now" or katy perry's "thinking of you" came on the radio. the lyrics are just too hurtful and no one should experienced the emotion that these two songs bring.

ok not that i have a whole lot of money to spend but i spend more than what i have in my wallie. mind you i live on allowance that my mak and ayah gave me. no scholar no study loan no nothing. obviously the allowance is for petrol and food so i can survive shah alam but i need clothes for my survival too!mak doesnt like it if i brought home new clothes every time considering my closet is really about to explode but i just cant help it. having new clothes keeps me happy and she needs to understand that! and i love to eat. most of my allowance goes to food. i cant stop craving for nando's and tutti frutti from time to time. now how can i buy more clothes while keeping my tummy full?? i really need to ~~cut down~~ plan well on my spending didnt i?

anyhow, went to chic pop bazaar at one jaya in pj on saturday with my sister arina. i went completely nuts!menyesal gila pergi time tengah xde duit. bought a cute mini skirt and pretty little ring tho. can't buy me much..it's been awhile since the last time i went shopping at bazaar.

the good thing about bazaar is you can find vintage items and fancy looking dresses at a bargain price.

have to remind myself not to wear heels and layered clothes the next time i go bazaar-ing. the heat and the crowd was suffocating and making me gasping for air.

1. i've been keeping myself busy with classes, ~~catching up with hanee,~~ and swimming!UiTM has its own good 6 ft deep olympic size pool. how cool is that!!!being in the water makes me feel relaxed. the good 1 hour a day in the water keeps me from thinking about everything else that has been invading my mind. it's like my own sweet escape from the world. separate swimming schedule for the boys and girls tho..dang!owh and you will need to bring your own swimming equipment.i need to get me a new swimsuit..bila roxy nak sale eh??

2. went to the first debate class for this semester...i suck!!big time!!!..i can't speak properly..like damn rusty i tell you..i can't think while i'm speaking..i can't even put my sentences right..it's definitely the most WTF speech i've ever done..and it's not funny..it's bothering me for the whole week.

3. i can make my own skirts now...mom taught me how to make use of the sewing machine at home.i'll post the picture soon!!

4. i have to learn to be punctual..i'm always late..late for classes, late for rendezvous, late for date...this is another reason why people do not take me seriously =/

5. my sister arina bought this super cool Sony NEX-3..so we're kinda like having fun with it and this is what you get. how bout a look book for moi??

now, every time my mind takes me back to those days it only makes my heart cringed.

because deep down i know that i will never get to feel it again.

i know we can never be what we were again.

i know that not everyone will comeback to sit on the same table.

but i won't sob and being pathetic just because everyone else doesn't feel what i feel and they don't want things to go like how i want it.

i know that shit happens but i don't regret to have to go through it.

i believe what doesn't kill you will only make you stronger.

it's best to just live for the moment.

stop reminiscing or regretting and stop thinking of what's gonna happen in the future.

whatever that you are having now be it a delicious sandwich or good coffee, pretty flowers at the side of the road, comforting friends or good weather just enjoy it while it lasts.

because things can go without a proper goodbye.

we'd vowed never to go back to where we were but just like any other promises, i wish this too can be broken.

My brain is working like a clock. the clock never stops ticking and i just can't stop thinking. sometimes a little too much.the only difference is my brain can get overloaded which will then makes me feel restless and hurts my own damn feeling while the clock keeps ticking like nobody's business.

this is what i do, when i'm sad or angry i need to tell someone about it just to make me feel better. when i'm happy i just need to share the joy. when i'm confused, i just need to let it out.that is why you will find me talk a lot. if i'm quiet and not talking there can be two reasons; first is because i'm too exhausted or sleepy and second is because i'm not getting what i want and i can't seems to find my way around it.when i'm quiet, there are million of things running through my head. when the treadmill of my brain is about to breakdown, that's when blog and twitter comes in handy. i blog and tweet a lot. i reveal unnecessary details sometimes it's embarrassing. not that i want the whole world to know how miserable or awesome or how boring my life can be but i just need to blurt it all out.

reading my old posts (even recent) makes me feel silly. i can't believe how intense my emotions were while i was writing those but now i can really laugh it off. like double LOL!! no make it quadruple. i blogged about boys a lot among many other things. silly things. those poems and melancholic phrases. what was i thinking??!! it's not healthy and i'm well aware of that. especially when you have no idea who is reading your blog.

but one absolute thing that i can be proud of is the fact that my words are genuine, honest, and sincere. those are exactly what i'm feeling at that moment. i was in and out of love, i was betrayed and frustrated, i was happy and really in bloom, i was once proud and too many times down. okay can somebody stops me already?

Friends said sometimes (i mean most of the time) i think too much and assume things negatively. well, didn't they say to always prepare for the worst?

there goes 2010. a year full of temporary joy and permanent pains. there are moments of glory and there are times that i just want to disappear. 2011, please be good, give me balance, and bring me love. yes, after all these years i still believe in love. it's absurd but i just cant stop believe in it. you can define love in anyway that you want. it might be the attraction that you feel for that special someone when you don't feel it with anyone else or the feeling of wanting companionship for that one particular person even when you can get company from others or simply the feeling of lust that appear whenever you're with that person. so no matter what your definition is, you must have felt it once or even twice. sometimes you don't even realized it. i wonder when can i feel those again but i know that i can still wait. anyhow this is something that i'd found while preparing speech for aisyah's wedding:

and i believe that i will go through changes for the years to come. and it's not going to be just me. everyone is changing like it or not. everyday we will go through a learning process and if you still remain stagnant it means that you are not learning. we learn from the people we meet, from the things we see, from what we hear, and from what we feel. we learn from boys, we learn from girls, we learn to love and we learn to forget what love is.

we might change the way we dress, we might change our interests and turns our head from the things we used to like and we might change because we want to try something new out of curiosity. whatever the cause, changes must be made for absolute good reason. i might be a different person now compared to 5 years ago but i'm happy with who i am now and deep down im still the same old brand new kid. you used to call me a girl next door and i still am. call me a goody two-shoes because i still intend to be one.

a sudden plan proposed by iqbal nadya and syuhada. langkawi was awesome and still is.im freakin in love with that island! i love the beaches, the weather, the duty free shopping spree, the food, and the people.i ate a lot while i was there. stayed at tok yan's house for the whole 3 nights and 4 days. keluar pagi2 dah malam baru balik sampai tok bising.huhuhu..felt bad..sorry tok..=/

we went strolling at the chenang beach on the first day. chenang feels like bali. the food there was awesome. my personal fave would be bubu's burger. a good place to eat after a tiring day at the beach. it keeps ur tummy full and it didnt hurt ur wallet ;)

went island hopping on the 2nd day. had to pay rm25 per head and we get to go to 3 places. pregnant maiden island, pulau beras basah, and eagle feeding. pregnant maiden island was absolutely my fave place. i had a good swim in its 30 feet deep lake. rasa macam xnak balik.haha..had mega lunch at ucle zul's restaurant. siap dengan ikan bakar semua. yummeh yummeh yummeh!

went shopping for chocolate at pekan kuah the very next day. but because of financial constraint, i cant really grab everything that i want. not even half. bought ritter sport for myself, toblerone, cadbury, hershey's, and daim. (i remember getting all excited buying hershey's hugs and kisses for him..haha). had laksa penarak for lunch. i really think kedah's laksa is the best among all and yes im a big fan of laksa.

we really thought we didnt have much to do for the rest of the day other then chilling at the beach. that's when annie (my cousin from dad's side) called me and asked us to join her and her family for another round of island hopping.

uncle joe rented the whole boat and we get to go to kilim geopark. trip to kilim was definitely the best. we get to feed rays!this is the most exciting part! dah 22 tahun and this is the first time i get to do this!

owh did i tell you that nadya's family lived in langkawi several years ago after they got back from uk?because of that i went to langkawi like every year sometimes twice. but not anymore since they'd moved to ampang.

ended the day with lepaking at tanjung rhu. bila air surut you can walk over 100 meters off the beach. prettycool eh? one thing that i'd regretted was not wearing appropriate attire. kiteorang redah je air pakai jeans. miahaha.

took early morning ferry to kuala kedah on friday morning. uncle zaidi picked us up bawak balik rumah for super lunch of ayam masak kicap and laksa teluk kecai. tengok rapunzel on dvd sampai habis. layan adorable saffyah tengok teletubbies and put makeup on her which she likes so much then took the 5pm bus back to kl.

i wanna go there again. should have bought dozens of ritter sport.

love reunites.i'd reconciled with her.it felt so good. i'm so happy to have her back and it feels like she just came back from a very long vacation.no grudges just 2 girls missing out on each other. and apparently i'd reconciled with him too..well at least it wasnt awkward between us considering we havent talk or heard from each other for the past 6 months. it felt good. it really felt good.

1. decided not to look for part time job this semester break since im occupied with my final year project (yes, the workload starts now) so i dont think i can manage time between that and work and having fun in between....but this is what i do most of the time at home so far...=/

4. syuhada makes me so into "we got married" (it's a korean reality tv show where celebrities ties the knot virtually)...we're rooting for khuntoria (nichkhun + victoria) couple. ^^ they're almost real!!and they're just so adorable!!i love how vic is a super cook (she can cook 9 dishes in 30 minutes!!) and always know how to make khun in awe all the time and i love how khun is protective over vic...comel gler!

5. went to shout award with syikin and rachel...henry golding is super fine!!but i didnt have good picture of him...sigh~

6. watched harry potter with meina and atin last night (faiz and nabil datang lambat gler and it pissed us off!!)...now how can i wait another year for the 2nd part???!!!!this is killing me!!i have a feeling that malfoy will turn into a good guy..yes??no???i dont read the books

the last 2 weeks of the semester has always been the least fave time in my list. kerja tertangguh melambak, lecturers were all demanding us to submit this and submit that and to top it all i have to work on my final year project proposal which is a very very tedious work.everything needs justification and citation. baru buat proposal dah rasa macam nak gila.

anyhow, i'm officially 22 now and i feel urm a tad old?i've always thought being 21 is the most ideal age for a person to get stuck at. i'm passing my prime time, as if it ever existed.but seriously, i feel old when i unconsciously started a conversation about buying properties and life insurance, went to ikea with the thoughts of shopping for furniture for my future apartment, pergi zara with the thoughts of buying that rm400 blazer so i can go to work in style, browsing through bridal cataloogue planning for my future wedding, went to baby gap thinking of buying that cute lil denim skirt for my future baby girl. it's as if i'm gonna be 30 anytime soon. ok probably i wasnt really feeling old by having those kind of thought. probably i deem for changes. probably i cant wait to feel how it's like to have commitments. probably i'm just tired with my current state of life. study x berhenti for 5 years, mana la x bosan.tiba tiba x sabar nak kerja, tiba tiba x sabar nak kahwin. hehehehe...ok merepek!

women's debate tourney was great despite us being disqualified on the 2nd day for being late. i was urmm not to say demented but rather frustrated because i've been put up as an adju for the past 3 tournaments and women's is like the first tourney after a while that i go as a debater. i love the motions. pretty much something us women can relate on. i love the cool pool party as our social night at the bungalow in subang. lyana from estrella was there. she's so cute and i love how she's all nervous n i just love her songs and her soft melodic voice. everyone was so hyper and loud! (the cops came for a while because of the public nuisance). i love the clinique workshop and the free clinique's lipgloss for everyone. i love the la senza membership letter. i love elaine daly for being there and give a rather motivating speech. i was like i wanna be a celebrity when she'd ended her speech (is that suppose to be a good thing?). i definitely love the finals!!i love our beloved mai's speech the most that i almost cry!!!and khalida's..how can they be so smart, so confident, so emotional yet so entertaining at the same time??...i need to work harder *grab a random book and start reading*

going back to kuala kangsar celebrating syawal made me realized this; you drove all the way to perak to be there with your family. you went there with the spirit of celebration and wish that you can continue the yearly celebration doing things that you normally do with the people you love.

this raya is different. it's joyous yet still lacking. we used to go back to perak anticipating to see those faces that can give you warmth everytime you see them but nadya wasnt there, iqbal wasnt there, the whole afar's and enda mam's family wasnt there. we didnt have barbeque and main mercun like how we used to. we didnt even get to convoy from house to house because syuhada's family decided to celebrate raya in langkawi before they can join us in kk and they have to leave early because kak yong is working on call (dr. syima to be precise). my point is, raya in kuala kangsar can be better. not that im complaining and being ungrateful but i wish everyone can just stick together and no to care about the world for a moment. it's hard to accept that everyone is growing up and have their own commitment. i cant imagine in the years to come when we get married and have our own family and how raya celebration will be completely different. probably not for the worst. probably it will be merrier with new people. i hope. well, there are things in life that you have to let go to gain something that will bring different meaning of joy and happiness to your life.

nevertheless, im grateful enough to be with family. i'm grateful for the food, clothes, and duit raya. i'm happy that i can be with my friends. these are the people i love. the people that i'm most comfortable with. these are the people that i can call kawan susah senang.

buka at fullhouse in ara damansara last night. i'm in love with this place! i love the cosy deco and the all white furniture and the big beautiful chandeliar. the food was ok. not much to my likings. taste good but not addictive. get it??but the deco was awesome!!!and i love the pretty little pink car right outsde the entrance.

had tutti frutti (definitely a substitute to ice cream...i'm having a hard time trying to finish up the whole rm16 cup all by myself...it was just a lot!!!), shisha at castle in kg. baru (this place is definitely going to be out of my list soon), and had nasi lemak panas for supper. good food, good people, good time. what more can i ask for?

my hair is unruly and i have no idea what to do with it. whether to perm it again, rebonding, relaxing, color, or just chop it off (tapi sayang~). it's pretty much D A M A G E D. the only time my hair was ever tamed was when i use hair mousse from L'oreal but it makes my hair a bit oily by the end of the day. i want to let my hair free from chemicals since i've been using it everyday so i stop but wallah! frizzy unruly curls alert!!!i better do nothing for now and wait for it to grow a lil more so i can get rid of the split ends. urgh!! wait, i shouldn't be blogging about this should i?this is the reason y my blog is lame -_-

hye!how are you??i've been wondering what have you been up to lately?how was your day today and what did you have for lunch?it's been awhile isnt it? its very unfortunate for us not having a single chance to keep up with each other. well, even if there is we decided not to.right?
let me tell you my random stories nonetheless. remember the hep staff that used to bother me a lot? he has not been around lately. i saw him once or twice but he didnt bother to trouble me anymore. i've been wearing boyfriend's shirt to classes so probably that's the reason why the "harassment" stopped. hehe
there's less time to hang out now. i don't go out every night anymore because of the workloads and tiredness. i've skipped class yesterday just to have coffee and cake with afia, ee, izzat asyraf, and amir. i'll try not to miss any lectures after this. promise!
it's been a month since the sem started but i havent gone to a single debate class. how bout you? will you go to tourney after this? dont worry. i wont be there.
i can do new kpop dance now!after much practice. haha!

1. ini apa yang saya rasa. kalau seseorang tu reciting verses of quran dengan lenggok yang tak sesempurna sheikh dari tanah suci makkah it doesnt mean that you can despise bacaan orang itu just because it's not as good as the sheikh's. asalkan tak langgar hukum dan bacaan tu betul sudah lah. contohlah imam dari china bila baca ayat-ayat al-quran it might sounded a bit chinese tapi he still have to lead the prayer dan jalan dia sama dengan sheikh dari makkah itu iaitu menuju Allah. tak boleh la kita nak condemn cakap bacaan imam cina tu x elok la entah apa apa la padahal dia orang islam jugak. x baik tau.

it's the 2nd week of the new semester and it has been pretty hectic with assignments and presentations. i'll have another 1 year to complete my final year project and tell you what fyp is scarying the shit out of me. too many things to do and i'm not sure what are the expectations of the examiners on fyp. i've decided to stick with research and dr.emma had agreed to supervise me. she's a bit garang but totally helpful and that's exactly what i need to be on track.

did i tell you that someone stalked me?received an mms of the dress that i wore in my profile picture on fb from an unknown number. texted and called but no respond from the anonymous. weird huh?probably someone i know because i dont give out my mobile number to just anyone.

anyhow, i've been thinking of quitting debate for good. at least i can focus more on my studies. lagi pun i heard that masai will not be our trainer anymore. =/ (yes, i love masai)

owh and did i tell you that i will have to extend for another one semester?met dr. fariza and she told me that i can still get the VC award even if i have to extend my degree. i have 2 more core subjects yang x terbuat lagi so it's better to spend another 4 months for those 2 and get good grades rather than risk it by doing shortcourse just because nak habis belajar cepat cepat.kan2?

and s7 is not safe anymore. well, rasanya tak pernah selamat pun. too many robberies that we end up locking all the doors even when there's people at home. laptop and printer simpan dalam bilik all the time. no more sepah sepah at the living room. oh, i got a new printer thanks to piqa. can scan, copy, and print. no more going to commercial bila nak print last minute.

the end...and it's over!the fifa world cup had come to its end! i was rooting for spain to win it last night and they did!!congrats to them! i personally think the game was boring. too much drama and too little actions. i was praying for either of the team to score during the extra time sebab dah x larat nak tunggu habis...huhu...one thing for sure, i was mesmerized by jesus' eyes!he's so damn good looking!haha

i wont be posting anything about football anymore till the next euro??. =)

let me get this straight

bella is just a lame girl who's leading a pathetic life sampai dia sanggup leaving her family and friends behind not to become a doctor or an engineer but to become a bloody vampire. she's a weirdo and definitely not admirable. her character is sooooo boring...mysterious according to med but i'll define her as pretty but boring. alice the vamp is living a better life than she is.

edward is just a hopeless romantic who is crazy over a girl because her blood smells nice. weird.

jacob is a bitch. over confident and main kotor just to win a girl's heart. such a turn off!!the director definitely ruined jacob's hotness in eclipse. he looks like a desperado.

i still don't like the corny script and the idea of everyone is willing to die for the sake of bella. and i still dont get it why all the vamps are crazy over her blood???is bella a fucking mutant???memang la cerita tu dongeng semata but please try to make it as real as it can be. think logic!

germany had lost the battle. i'm disappointed not only because they had failed to beat spain and prove paul the octopus wrong (lets have takoyaki!) but because of they didnt put up a real good fight in the match last night. it's bad enough we didnt get to see mueller's actions on the field but oziel yang konon2 harapan didnt even try hard to score shit. bukan sebab germany x hebat semalam tapi casillas gempak. huhu. xnak cakap lebih2 nanti afeeya mengamuk. =P

true indeed. we hurt them, broke their heart and they broke ours too. everyone had gone through the same thing. it's just the matter how you handle it. how you gain your composure to walk the earth like nothing ever happened. for me, it will take a whole lot of time and effort but i know i'll make it to end of the tunnel eventually. can the train move a lil bit faster please?

alright, i'm addicted to the song and the dance!!finally, there's a group that can replace the absence of CSJH in the kpop scene. I personally think MissA can sing and dance very well. they remind me of wonder girls during "irony" for some reason. i hope they won't turn out to be just another bubbly kpop girls group.

the "good girl bad girl" is a song about a guy who judge a girl solely on her outer appearance and she doesnt like it. a girl might seems tough and independent on the outside but very vulnerable and sensitive on the inside so she needs a guy with confidence and can handle her like a real man should!

seriously, no matter what kind of attitude a girl throws at you, she will definitely be a good girl when they're in love. and all you need to do is to show them that you are the right guy for her. =)
